The Dew Mandir trust was founded in the late 70`s by Hindus of Surinamese origin, who came to the Netherlands around 1975. Dew Mandir was established in the building of Ekta Bhawan (Jan Hendrikstraat in The Hague). To our knowledge Dew Mandir is the oldest Mandir in The Hague. <

The gatherings in Dew Mandir are on Sundays and on religious Hindu holidays. On average between 80 to 120 people visit the Sunday religious services. On the religious holidays with the most famous Navratan ( 2 times 9 consecutive nights a year) on average between 150 to 200 people visit the religious services.

Beside the religious services Dew Mandir also organizes independently of together with other hindu organizations in The Hague several social-, cultural- and wellbeing activities.
